ACACO Report on Waiting times
The Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations (ACAHO), the national voice of teaching hospitals and teaching centres that are part of regional health authorities has released a timely review of wait time management strategies.
Entitled “Wait” Watchers: Weighing in on Wait Time Initiatives Across ACAHO Members,” the survey highlights a broad range of progressive and innovative measures that members of the Association have identified and implemented to better manage the order of patients waiting for care and treatment, and the speed at which they move through the system.
